Three Arrested in Connection with Suspicious Death of Abdul Rahman

Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the suspicious death of 65-year-old Abdul Rahman of Maalhos.

Abdul Rahman was found dead at his home on July 12, with authorities later confirming his death resulted from injuries caused by an assault. The case was first reported by his younger brother, Nazim, who discovered him at the residence.

The suspects currently in custody are identified as:

• Mohamed Visam 

• Ahmed Aashid 

• Ahmed Faris 

Investigators revealed that the three men were linked to the assault, but additional individuals may also have been involved. Police indicated that further evidence has surfaced, suggesting others could face arrest.

On August 9, authorities seized the phones of three individuals and conducted searches of their homes in Maalhos.

Police confirmed that Abdul Rahman’s family has not yet been formally briefed on the details of the case. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities pledging to share updates as new information becomes available.
