Yameen Gives Muizzu Just 20/100: 'A Big-Time Failure'
Former President Abdulla Yameen has said he would give President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s government 20 marks out of 100 for its performance in the first two years.
Speaking at a rally held in Hulhumalé by the People’s National Front (PNF), Yameen said that after observing the government’s actions over the past two years, he believes the administration has failed in key areas such as policy direction, governance standards, accountability, transparency, and efficiency.
Yameen stated that considering all these factors, he would score the government 20 out of 100. He explained his breakdown as follows:
– Integrity: 10 out of 60
– Responsiveness: 5 out of 10
– Transparency: 2 out of 10
– Efficiency: 3 out of 10
According to Yameen, the government fully failed in its accountability score, which he said stands at 0 out of 10.
“This is a big-time failure. Anyone who looks at this will see the scientific methodology behind it. There is nothing questionable about it,” Yameen said.
Yameen added that he is ready to challenge the government on this assessment, and that the figures clearly reflect the administration’s actual performance.
