Houthi Assault Sinks Cargo Ship, Escalating Red Sea Conflict

Yemeni houthis sabotaged a cargo ship heading to Israel . The attack on the boat killed 4 of the 25 crew on board.
The British military said the ship sank 51 nautical miles west of Hodeida in Yemen. Six of the crew members have been rescued and 15 are still missing, the Israeli military said.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarri said the ship was en route to Israel when it was blown up, using unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles, in an attack on the rights of the Palestinian people.
The six rescued included five Filipinos and one Indian. The attack is one of the strongest in recent years by the Houthis in the Red Sea.
Prior to the attack, the Houthis attacked and destroyed another ship, the Magic Seas. However, all the crew survived the attack.
