Euro Marketing Partners With No Plastic Maldives for Coastal Clean-Up
Euro Marketing, the official distributor of Lorenz products in the Maldives, has announced the launch of the 'Lorenz Clean Shores Initiative', a coastal clean-up programme undertaken in partnership with No Plastic Maldives, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The initiative will see a public clean-up event held on 27 December 2025, from 7:30am to 11:45am, beginning at Fannu Beach in Hulhumale'. Members of the public are invited to participate in the exercise, with advance registration facilitated through No Plastic Maldives’ official platform.
According to Euro Marketing, the Clean Shores Initiative reflects Lorenz’s long-term sustainability strategy in the Maldives, with a focus on protecting the country’s fragile coastal and marine ecosystems. The programme aims to raise awareness on plastic pollution while encouraging community involvement in practical environmental action. Participants have been encouraged to adopt environmentally responsible practices during the event, including bringing reusable water bottles, as part of broader efforts to reduce single-use plastic waste and promote sustainable habits.
The clean-up effort is supported by a number of institutional and community partners, including Malé City Council, Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO), Maldives Ocean Plastic Alliance (MOPA), 14th Malé Rover Crew, and 40th Malé Scouts, whose collaboration is expected to enhance the reach and impact of the initiative.
Euro Marketing stated that partnerships of this nature are central to its corporate responsibility approach, aligning brand presence with initiatives that deliver positive environmental outcomes and contribute to long-term sustainability in the Maldives.
