Maldivian Government signs three memorandum of understanding with Singapore on collaboration on different areas

Maldives and Singapore have signed three memorandum of understanding on cooperation in various fields. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. Mohammed Muizzu and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong took part in this event. 

Among the MoUs signed at the ceremony was a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Maldives and the Government of Singapore on cooperation in the field of capacity building. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Maldives and the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment of Singapore.The third is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education and Labor and Skills Development and the Institution of Technical Education of Singapore on cooperation in higher education, education policy, technical and vocational education and research.

The memorandum of understanding was signed during the President. Mohammed Muizzu official visit to Singapore. These agreements are expected to further strengthen relations between the two countries and enhance cooperation in various fields.
